A powerful peer helping program trains young people with very specific skills to provide services to other youth – their peers in a well thought out systematic way.
Peer helping programs provides support, prevention, education, intervention, and referral services to youth by training youth in skills including communication, decision-making, self awareness, assertiveness and helping skills.

Peer Resource Training offers over 30 years of expertise and experience in training youth and adults from across the country. As a leader in the peer helping movement, our specialties include:

• Workshops, Training and Consulting in Setting up and Maintaining a successful Peer Helping Programs in Schools and Community Based Organizations.

• Training Adults and /or youth to provide Peer Helpers with information and skills that help to address: Violence Prevention, Peer Tutoring, School Safety, Tobacco Prevention, Peer Counseling/Mentoring, Conflict Management, School Bullying, Freshman/Buddy Programs and Peer Education on any issue facing young people today.
